Third Gamera Double-Feature DVD Coming March 15th

by JasonJanuary 16, 2011

It’s a little surprising, but at the same time, not surprising that SHOUT! Factory is releasing both ‘Gamera vs. Zigra’ and ‘Gamera: The Super Monster’ in a double-feature DVD set for the third straight time. The DVD is set to be released March 15th, which is just a day after my birthday and would be a cool birthday gift. You can pre-order this DVD now at Amazon.com for just $14.99 or wait and get it in person at your favorite retail store.

‘Death Kappa’ Release Date Changed

by JasonAugust 5, 2010

Thanks to our fellow member, Shawn, for sending this information! He says that he has pre-ordered the newest kaiju flick, ‘Death Kappa’ from Amazon.com. As the DVD and Blu-Ray release of the film was suppose to be out late last month, Amazon.com has now changed the date for the release of the film on the two formats to September 21st, the same day the double-feature DVDs of the Gamera films will be out from SHOUT! Factory.

As Shawn point out to us or has suggested that it could coincide or possibly get the upper-hand of the Gamera double-feature DVDs.

But nonetheless, get a chance to pre-order this film if you haven’t done so yet on DVD or on Blu-Ray. I know I’ll get the film on Blu-Ray when it comes out later next month.

So mark your calendars to September 21st, as it will be a hay-day for getting the Gamera double feature DVDs and ‘Death Kappa’!
